Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house, tinder date of the 12th October:—"New Zealand prime crossbred lamb, Canterbury, heavy, lid; light, 12^d; North Island, heavy, lOJd; light, 12Jd. Demand for New Zealand lamb active; market firmer. New Zealand primo crossbred mutton, Canterbury, heavy, 7Jd; light, 7Jd; North Island, heavy, 6Jd; light, 7id. Demand for New Zealand mutton better owing to cold weather; market firm. New Zealand prime ox beef, hinds, 4Jd; fores, 3d. Demand for New Zealand beef, fair; market weak. Market continues firm, with upward tendency for lamb and wethers. "
