Mr. H. W. Shortt, of Shortt's Theatre, left, on a trip to Sydney by the Ulimaroa yesterday.
A further salesmanship lecture will be delivered in the Assembly Hall, y.M.C.A., Wiilis street, on Thursday evening. The lecturer will be Mr. A. E. Batt, of 3argood, Son, and Ewen, Ltd. Mr. Batt is said to be well qualified to speak on tho subject, having had extensive experience-thi-oitjhoiit tho Orient anil in, Aoierioa as buyer sod saloimin.
