SIXTH CLASS-COLLEGE RECORD.
The matches ,-which were to be played to-day in the sixth-class competition will bring Petone and Wellington College A on equal terms in the lead,1 the former having obtained a win by default and College being without an engagement. Prior to to-day's matches Wellington College A had gained 26 points in 14 games, and Petone 24 in 13 gwnee. Thf record of the College Sixth A boys is $ remarkable one. Although one loss is recorded against them every match was actually won, but an irregularity regarding the age limit caused the forfeiting of' a, match. In fourteen matches 598 points have been scored by College—an average of 42.7 per game—and only 6 points have' been registered against them. Points scored in the match against Athletic, which was forfeited, are not included in the official tally of points shown in the championship' table. The fine performance of the College Sixth A team reflects much credit on the coach (Mr. Alf. Caddick). Irt last year*, competition the sixth A team wgg undefeated, the points record being: For 475, against 6. > The sixth-class table is as follows (including PetpneY win to-day, by default):
