MR. GALBRAITH'S CANDIDATURE
TO THE EDITOR. /
Sir, —Your report of th« action in the Magistrate's Court against Mr. Alexander Galbraith for allegedly inciting violence lias a sub-headinst which states that Mr. Galbraith is a "Labour candidate." This is not correct. Mr. Galbraith is a Communist candidate for Napier, and is opposing in that constituency the candidate duly selected by the Labour organisations.. He has a perfect viqht to do this, of course, but it is hardl # y fair to the Labour Party to credit it with a candidate who is actually fiehtins it. I hope yon will permit mo to make this correction in your columns.—l am, etc., , JAMES;THORN. Secretary ■Wellington.. Labour Representation Committes,
