' _ TIMARU, 10th July. An invitation was issued to the freezing works employees, who are on strike to return to-day, but none' turned up, either at Smitfafield or Pareora. A number are expected at Pareora to-morrow. The six free labour teams at each works are doing well, and all subsidiary work is being carried on satisfactorily.
