» LONDON, 10th July. Mayor Blake telegraphs from Ramleh that he is leaving for Ziza, with the intention o.f preceding- to Bagdad early on Tuesday> "It hasTjeen arranged that we shall be accompanied over the desert by an armed Vickers aeroplane, which will keep in wireless touch with Cairo and Bagdad during the flight, so that in the event of a forced landing help can immediately be sent. Owing to the absence of water on tKis tremendous stretch of over five hundred miles of arid desert, we will oarry fifteen gallons, and five day's rations, though we do not anticipate having to land. "We are informed that this is the first time any machine has flown direct from Athens to Egypt, and the fact that 'it was done on a land machine astonishes everybody." ■> ,
