"MAID OF THE MOUNTAINS."
The fascinating comic opera "Maid of the Mountains," made another strong appeal to: a crowded audience at the Grand Opera, House last evening. The play is magnificently staged. Miss;Shiela Gale, who has taken, the part of Miss Moncrieff in the role of Teresa* is an excellent understudy and works1 well with the other members- of the company.
Owing to the popularity of the opera, the management has decided to extend the season to next Friday night. A matinee performance will be given on Thursday instead of Wednesday, and on Saturday ■ afternoon and evening the season will close with two representations of "Katinka." The box plans for the additional representation of the "Maid of the Mountains" will be opened at the Bristol to-morrow morning. Those who have already reserved seato for Friday may have their tickets exchanged for Saturday. !
