LOOTERS CAPTURED
(Received July 10, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Bth July. Nationalist troops routed the Irregulars at Skeogh House, after six hours' fighting. They took sixty prisoners, mostly men from Londonderry, who for '. the past two months, have plundered ' trains and Loyalists' shops and given ' the loot, including furs and finery, to ■ ' their womenfolk. Considerable looting was also done at .Blessington, where the Nationalist 'troops captured the rebel stronghold and took ovev a hundred prisoners.' A rebel garrison at Ferns surrendered, and Drogheda is now completely controlled by ■ the Nationalist troops;.
