FIRE AT GREENMEADOWS

LARGE RESIDENCE DESTROYED.

.NAPIER, 9th'July. A twenty-roomed residence, owned by John HinAmarsh at Greenmeadowe, was totally destroyed by fire1 yesterday afternoon. The origin of the outbreak is a mystery, the occupants of the house being asleep at the time. The Napier Fire Brigade was- summoned, and was able to save the adjoining buildings. The building, a very old wooden one, burned rapidly, and very little ; \vas caved. ' , f The insurances are : In Norwich office, building £3800, furniture £1100.
