The Hon. GL J. Anderson (Minister of Mines) returned to Wellington this afternoon.
The Hon. C. J. Parr (Minister of Education and Health) returned to Wellington from Chris.tchurch this morning. ,
Mr. T. Younie, chief clerk of the Repatriation Office at Auckland, has succeeded Mr. F. ,H. Burbush, who retired for health reasons,- as district repatd'ation officer.
A.cablegram was received from Wales to-day stating that Dr. lain Cameron Maciatyre, of Christchurch, has passed his Examination for the' tuberculosis diseases diploma, the first of its kind to be awarded in the world.
Mr. ,W. S. Percy, \vho was here with the "Babes in the Wood" pantomime, company, returned from Sydney by the Maunganui to-day. Mr. Percy is to take up Mr. Phi!.' Smith's part in the "Maid of the Mountains."
