A SECRETARY PLEADS GUILTY.

GISBORNE, This Day. Thomas Richard Porter, secretary of the Waterside Workers' Union at Tokomaru Bay, charged with theft of £147, funds o£ the union, pleaded guilty, and was committed for sentence at, Auckland Supreme Court, _ i A Maori youth, Haniti Poi, who pleaded guilty to breaking and entering a dwelling at Tokomaru Bay, was also committed for sentence at Auckland.
