MIMIC BATTLE TO BE STAGED

The King, who is spending a few days at Torbay, arrived in the Royal yacht and was met by the assembled fleet in a review, which provided a noble spectacle.
The Empire's first defence submarine flotilla, in single file, led the line of warships, and was followed by three lines of destroyers and two lines of light cruisers. After these came the battleships with the Queen Elizabeth ending the line. ■ As the yacht entered the lino 'dropped anchor, the fleet fired a: Royal salute and the crews dressed the ships. The exercises will include a mimic battle with torpedo attacks, and ihe. destruction of the ex-German cruiser Nuremberg by big-gnn practise.
