He did .60 yards in 6 l-ssec, 70 yards in 7 l-10sec, and set up new world's records for 80 yards in 7 3-ssec, 125 yards in 12 l-ssee, and 175 yards in 17sec. Miss Sybil Bauer, a seventeen-year-old Chicago girl, swimming in a -75ft pool, broke four, back-stroke world's records— 50 yards in 31 3-ssec, 200 yards in lmin 51 4-ssoc, 200 metres in 3min 46 4-ssec, and 220 yards iv 3min 7 4-ssec. Miss Riggin, a New York girl, set a new American free style record—3oo yards in tojri- My- 3-feoo. :
