Unconfirmed reports are current of Cabinet reconstruction, involving Lord Curzon (Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs), who is ill, Lord Balfour (Lord President of the Council), Mr. S. Baldwin (President of the Board of Trade), who may succeed Mr. E. Shortt (Home Secretary); Mt. Shortt will probably go on the Bench. Mr. C. A. M'Curdy's name is mentioned in connection with the Board of Trade.
