(Received -July 4,. 11 a.m.)
LONDON, 3rd July.
In his secretarial report to the National Railwaymen's Conference, Mr. J. H. Thomas,- M.P., complained bitterly of personal attacks by Communists. A number of fanatics in the country, he said, seized every opportunity to attack trade union leaders. "They appear blindly to desire to break up the British Constitution, apparently despairing of ever being able to educate people in their policy. Tliey interfere in every important industrial. dispute, and hope to achieve their purpose by launching attacks, overlooking the fact that the responsible parties in trade union affairs are*inevitably executive. committees or delegates.to meetings."
