NEW ZEALAND PRODUCE
CURRENT LONDON RATES.
The High Commissioner advises, London, Ist July, of prices and markets for New Zealand produce:— .
New Zealand Hemp.—Manila easier with sellers, July-September shipments, quoting G grade £34 per ton, J £30 per ton. New Zealand market quiet, with little offering for shipment. Nominal value high points £30 per ton, fair £29 per ton.. . --"'
Honey.—Market quiet and steady; New Zealand light amber quoted it 82s 6d to 84s per cwt (B|d to 9d per lb); medium amber, 70s to 75s per cwt (7|d to.Bd per lb).
Fruit.—Still a- large portion of Australian fruit in - poor condition on handj and prices unaltered. Balance of Zealandic consignment is meeting fair demand, but condition, as reported by buyers, is very wasty. Present market prices are:—Jonathans,. 4s to 10s per case; Stunners,'- 10s tb'l3s per case; Rokewoods, 12s per case; London Pippins,. 4s to"l2s per case; Statesman, 6s to" lis per case; Delicious (sound), 10s, to 13s per case; Delicious (wasty), 4s to 7s per case'; Spitzenberg, 5s to 8s per case; other kinds (poor.lots), 5s to 7s per case; other kinds (sound fruit),' 10s to 13s per case. ■ ■ ■
