CLEARING COUNTRY DISTRICTS
LARGE CAPTURES OF IRREGULARS

LONDON, 2nd July.
The Free State forces operating in Kilkenny have captured the Callan Barracks. The Irregulars in Tipperary have burnt all the outlying barracks, and have retreated to Clonmel. There have been large captures in-Donegal, where the Free State troops are in complete control, except in the eastern district, where the " last ditches "are concentrated.
