QUEEN'S THEATRE.
At the Queen's Theatre, Jacques Jaccard's famous Canadian northwoods story, "Under Northern Lights," is being screened. Tho story is a dramaticone, and is laid in the great out-doors —the vast spaces of Northern Canada. The story treats with a member of the Royal North-west Mounted Police, whose duty compels him to imprison the brother of the girl he loves—a, story of tho eternal struggle between love and duty, and between the forces of lawlessness and order. Gladys Walton, who has gained more fame as a delineator of flapper figures than any other actress of the stage or screen, is the_ star of "Playing With Fire," the Universal film comedy-drama included on the programme. Supporting her aro many popular players, including Hallam Cooley, Harold Miller, Kathryn M'Guire, Eddie Gribbon, Hayward Mack, Sydney Franklyn, Harriet Laurel, Lydia Knelt, Elinor Hancock, and Danny Hoy. The supports include the latest International News, Century Comedy, and "Winners of the West," completed by the excellent musical programme offered by the Queen's Orchestra, under the conductorship of Mr. A. H. Jerome. The box plan is at tho theatre.
