DUNEDIN, This Day. The weather is ideal for the third day of the Dunedin Jockey Club's v Winter Meeting. Following are the requite :—

Greenfield Hurdle Handicap, of 500 soya; one mile and three-quarters.— Falstaff, 10.13, 1; General Petain, 12.13, 2; Rorke's Drift, 10.0, 3. Scratched : Redfire. Won by half a length, with six lengths between second and third. Time, 2iriin 24sec.

Taieri Handicap, of 300 soys; one mile and a-quarter.—Raconteur, 8.8, 1; Gunlayer, 7.7, 2; Kerb, 9.11, 3. All started. Won by a length, with: four lengths be-f tween 'second and third. Time, 2min 15secr~ . ■ .

Kitg George Handicap, of 500 soys; one mile.—Roseday, 8.12, 1; Tatau Tatau, 7.6, 2; Palamon, 7.8, 3. AU started. Won by two lengths easily, with third horse half a length away. Time, lmin 44 4-ssec:

Dunedin Steeplechase, of 600 soys; two miles and a-half.—Lawsuit, 11.12, 1 ; Pawere'were, 11.10, 2; Canbini, 9.0, 3. All started. Only "the placed horses finished. Won by two lengths, with 150 yards between second and third horse. Time, smin 49 3-ssec.
