BIG REDUCTION
IN' 'AMERICAN RAILWAY PAY.
NEW YORK, "29th May. The United States Railroad Labour Board has announced wage reductions for workers on the maintenance of the permanent way, beginning on Ist July. The total reduction is 58,000,000 dollars, affecting 400,000 men, and represents a cut of approximately 13 per cent. , Wage decisions pending in other divisions will probably add at least a hundred million dollars more to the reductions in wages.
