A DISPUTED ORDER

, ■■■•-. -AUCKLAND, This Day. An action in which Alpe Bros, and Co. claimed £562 from the Hawkes Bay Fruitgrowers, Ltd., concluded a,t the Supreme Court on Saturday. The- case concerned three machines for making strawberry boxes, which plaintiffs imported from the United States,', and delivery of which was refused by the defendants, on the ground that .they did not want automatic machines,' but machines worked by fopt-powor, costing only about £7 each. After a- retirement of three hours, the jury returned a, unanimous?, verdict that the plaintiffs were buying agents and not sellers, and a ten to two verdict that the machines tendered were tho machines ordered. His Honour said that, in view of the jury's finding, plaintiffs were entitled to judgment for the full amount of their claim,, but V,t counsel's request Uic entering of judgment was'deferred to enable him to inovß for a non-suit or new trial if he saw fit.
