A conference of representatives of dairy factories in the district met yesterday to consider the' establishment of an association to stabilise the price of pigs and control the sale of bacon and pig products: It was decided that suppliers and shareholders in every dairy company in the Manawatu, from Otaki to ;Bulls, be called together by their directors, and the position placed before them in an endeavour to obtain the; unanimous support of all pig- producers in. assisting to bring the scheme to a successful issue.
