icor_ .the. boxing 'tournament at the Town Hall on Monday night, the demand for seats has been brisk, and there should be a large, audience to witness the 1: between Maddox and Brien: If expectations are realised, patrons should be treated to a fast and interesting exhibition. The same applies to 'the amateur bouts. Many local amateurs are at present in training, in view of the numerous amateur events to' be staged by various associations during the season, and as several new exponents will be seen on Monday evening their appearance will bo watched with keen interest. Those desirous of procuring good seats should lose no time in visiting the box office. The new competition programme, which is being inaugurated at the tournament, should cause interest in view of the inducement for patrons present, to compete for the prize offered.
