The committee 1 further recommended' that it be appointed to consider the first reading of the draft estimates which the engineer had been instructed to prepare, as the committee considered thot thework done at its meeting of the 20t:i March, would greatly assist in having the estimates dealt with a« ijuiokly a* possible.
