MEDICAL STUDENTS
EMBARRASSMENT OF MIXED
CLASSES.
(uim» rim association.— coftxiht.)
SYDNEY, 7th March,
The cabled decision of the London Hospital not to admit women students is regarded with interest by the Sydney Universitv where mixed classes prevail. It is admitted that in certain courses the presence of women students causes the lecturer embarrassment, and restricts bis scope for discussion. Male students, however, have no objection to the presence of women, except perhaps during practical classes and dissections.
