HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.

Melodrama is a comparatively new idea at His Majesty's Theatre, but it ihas very quickly caught the public fancy, and good houses have been, 'recorded. This week "The Poor Man's Parson," a play that created something of a sensation in London, is being presented, with Mr. Frank Gorman in the lead as the Rev. Harold Pelham. Most folk look upon Mr. Gorman as a singer, but he is ato an actor of parts. Several vocal numbers are introduced by him into the play, including "I'm Lonesome," "Old Pal of Mine," and "Tooia-■loora-loora." He is supported by a capable cast of players selected from the Fuller Dramatic Company.
