(ABJTRALIAN - MIW KAMN» CA«L« ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, sth- March.

Despite the maintenance,of a strict watch at Italian ports, the .police have failed to find any trace of Gerard Bevan, the missing chairman of directors of the City Equitable Insurance Company, since his passport was presented at the British Consulate at Naples. It is possible that he is hiding in Italy, but the police believe that he escaped across the Adriatic by a fishing boat to Greece, from which there is no extradition.
