(REUTER'3 TELEGRAM.) (Received March 6, 9 a.m.)
NEW YORK. 4th March,
The police have discharged six of the alleged "boot-leggers" recently arrested in connection with the murder of Taylor at Los Angeles, as all proved a satisfactory alibi. The police now state that they have received a letter from a man, whose name is withheld, confessing that the writer' killed Taylor in revenge for an old feud, and that he is fleeing overseas. The police are satisfied that the writer had a genuine knowledge of who committed the crime.
