The High Commissioner, reporting on the London dairy produce market as on 14th January, cables.—"Demand, for butter continues good,.position steadier, and! at present level. New Zealand, in some cases realised up to 155s per cw£ (Is 2^d per lb) for special lot. Official quotations 14th January are :r— \ "New Zealand.—l2Ba to 130b" per cwt (lsljdtols-2dperlb). f "Australian.—ll6s to I,lßs per cwt (la OJd to Is OJd per lb), up to 120b per cwt (Is Id per lb). Salted : 106s to 115s per cwt (Hid to Is OJd) per lb. Unsalted : 114s to 116s per cwt (Is Old to Is OJd per lb). "Argentine.—TJnsalted : 112s'.'.'td"'I18Y per cwt (Is to Is o|d per lb). "Danish.—l7os to 185s p«r cwt (la 6|d to Is 7|d per lb). "Cheese market remains quiet. Official quotations are : "English, Finest Farmer's.—l3os to 140s per cwt (Is 2d to Is 3d per lb). "Canadian.—Coloured and white, 90s to 96s per cwt (9Jd to 10£ d per lb). Exceptional, 100s per cwt (IOJd per ib) for special quality. ..'■1 "New Zealand.—Coloured : 86s to 88s per cwt (9id to 9id per lb). Whif* : 84s to 86s per cwt (9d to 9id per lb).
