INQUEST ON A JOCKEY
AUCKLAND, 23rd December
At the inqiiest concerniTtp the death of the apprentice jockey, William Moylan, aged fifteen, who -was riding Hea.tfoermoon at the Takapuna races on 26th November, and died in the hospital two days later, as tho result of internal injuries received. wli«n the horse foil, the coi'oner returned a verdict in accordance with the . medical evidence, stating no blaino w;« fittachable to anyone. A jockey, in t'ho course of liis wJdence., aaid tlio deceased appeared to try to obtain a, position on the out»kl« of Esthonia. I-Ie thought Heathermoon must have oti'iick h,is front feet on the heds of Esthoiiia.
