THE WEATHER

The change forecasted by the Dominion Meteorologist from the prevailing nor'-westerly to a light southerly has come along pleasantly enough, and today's weather is perfect. Elsewhere in the Dominion there has been rain; but here the transition has boen gentle enough. The barometer is high, but it is feared that an atmospheric depression may interfere with the, prospects for continued fine weather. The best weather is often close to the bad. It is possible that • the southerly winds will now decrease, changing in the North to easterly and in tho South to northerly winds. There is little movement in the barometer at the present time, hut twenty-four hours may bring a change.
