The members of the VV.N.R. Girls' Club would bo glad of special help with ilowcr3 or, if possible, the use of a motor-car occasionally during tho holidays, as they wish to make the graves of tho soldiers buried in the Memorial Cemetery particularly beautiful during Christmas and Now Year. Flowers may be left at tho Returned Soldiers' Club on-Saturday, at the corner of Foatherston and Brandon streets, yr if, as is hoped, there will be a generous response to this appeal, the girls would be glad of assistance* in getting them taken out to Karon. Tho schools, which1 help so (splendidly, are in recess now, and the Girls' Club will need help during all the' holidays, as there- are nearly 300 graves to be "attended. The Government Printing Offico has twice mado an appeal and collection, to which it haß responded generously, and the girls hope that others i^rill do likewise,
