THE NATIONAL MUTUAL
Mr. F. W. Nicholson, manager for Now Zealand for tho National Mutual Life Association, has received the following cable message, from the head office, MclTMUrW:—"Tho fifty-second annual general meeting of members was held yesterday. The-" "Hew business for the year is very satisfactory; over 14,000 policies, insuring over five and a-half millions were issued. The total income for "the year, including , interest and premiums, amounted to over twp and a-half million^. The sum of one ■million four hundred (thousand has been *f'3od ■to the funds which now total over fifteen millions. The interest earned on the average funds, after deducting income, tax, was £5 4s 5d per cent."
