Tho Committee of members of the House of Representatives, which drew up proposals for a meat pool, met the executive of the Producers' Committee in Wellington yesterday, and discussed the subject. The members also met representatives of the' freezing companies and meat companies. Subsequently the Committee handed to the Prime Minister the detailed scheme, which was placed before the House of Representatives in the evening. The executive of the Producers' Comaiittee has decided, as a result of yesterday's meeting, that a full conference of^ representatives of the producers shall bo held in Wellington early ,in January, to consider the pooling scheme. In the meantime no decisive action will be taken.
