I A picturesque wedding was celebrated I recently at Shirley Church,- Christ- ' church. The bride was Miss Winifred Ralph, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs, C. H. Ralph, of Shirley, and eldest grandaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Ralph, of Wellington, the bridegroom being Mr. Robert F. D. Burrell, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Burrell, of EUereHe, Auckland. The Rev. J. Guy performed the ceremony, and Mr." j. Salkeid presided at the organ. The Church wits beautifully decorated with aruth lilies and spring flowers, The bride, who was given away by heir , father, wore a charming gown of ivory satin, with an overdress of handsome lace. Her hand embrbiaefed veil of silk net was held in position fey a wreath of orange blossoms, and she carried a sheaf of arum lilies. Miss Vivienne Ralph, sister of the bride, was tnaid of honour, and Miss Doris Black, cousin of the bride, Was bridesmaid. Miss Ralph's dress waß bf vieux rose crepe de chine with an overdress of cream net. Her Leghorn hat was trimmed with pink georgette and flowers, with gold streamers, , and she carried a Victorian posy of lilies of the valley and pink roses.
