AUTO-CYCLE ASSOCIATION
ANNUAL CONFERENCE.
The annual conference on Thursday of the New Zealand Auto-cycle Association Jwas presided over by Mr. A. E. Davey (Gisborne), and there was large attendance' of delegates. The chairman stated that during the past twelve months four new clubs, namely, GisTjorne, Nelson, Wanganui, and Blenheim, had been formed and affiliated with tho association, which now had a club membership of 19. The prize money offered , by tho clubs during the year totalled £1625 ss, exclusive of trophies. The general financial statement showed a credit balance of £85 4s Bd, while the riders' benevolent fund had a credit of £316 10s 2d. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follow :—President, Mr. A. E. ■ Davey (Gisborne); vice-presidents, Messrs., Briasco (Napier), Smith (Hamilton), and G. Torstonson (Palmerston ■North); secretary, Mr. M. C. Creighton (Ha.wera); treasurer, Mr. Spragg (Hawera); x trustees, Mr. B. L. Joll (Ha--1 ,wera), and the secretary and treasurer.
