COLLEGE GOVERNORS

A meeting of the Wellington College Governors was held this morning, when there were present Messrs. W. F. Ward (chairman), W. H. Denton, W. H. P. Barber, R. Darroch, T. Forsyth, W. H. Field M.P., R. A. Wright, M.P., and Sir E. 0. Gibbes.

The statement of accounts showed that there was a debit balance of £2833 Is 6d. The balance at the bank was £937 73 9d, and payments required were: Wellington College £1178 17s 5d and Girls' College £1492. Fees >outstanding were:—Wellington College: Tuition,'£s9 os'Bd; board, £60 10s; advances, £25 17s lOd; Girls' College: Tuition, £75 15s'; board, £149 17s 6d; advances, £8 2s 9d. Rents outstanding amounted to £396 2s lid.
