SENSATIONAL INCIDENT
STEAMER ADRIFT IN A RIVER.
(II TBWQP.APH.—PRBfIS ASSOCIATION.) DABGAVILLE, This Day. A sensational incident occurred la^t night. The steamer Wairoa, owing to the high tide, got adrift and was carried well up the river by the tide before the engineer, who was the only person . aboard, discovered the fact; He immediately blew the whistle, and assistance was rendered before any damage was done.
