LONDON, 19th July. The Evening Standard, discussing tha syndicate formed by four leading- bookmakers with fcho object of introducing the totalisator system points out'that the project is meeting with opposition from othor bookmakers, and adds: "If by their ungenerous methods of protesting tho bookmakers havo disgusted the public to such an extent that they turn to the totalisator system, tho bookmakers have only themselves to blame."
