/MASTERTON, 26th June. General iSir liiward Chaytor was a visitor to Mastertomi during the weekend. He attended a dinner 'held on Saturday to mark the disbanding of the Rirahine Regiment, and on Sunday he was present at the consecration of the regimental colours in St. Matthew's Church, when Archdeacon .Watson, of Wellington, officiated. The flags wore placed for safe keeping in the church. Many old officers of the regiment were Resent.
