MONEY MARKET.
The Bank of England discount rate, which had stood at 5 per cent, sdnce sth April, 191?, on which date it was reduced from 6J per cent., was raised to 6 per cent, on 6th November, 1919, to 1 per cent, on 15th April, 1920, and to 6J per cent, on 28th April, 1921. ' OPEN MARKET RATE. The open market, rate for three months' bills is nominally 5? per cent, as compared with 6} to 6J per cent, 'last week, and 6J per cent, last year. Short loans are quoted at 5 per cent., as against 5J per cent, last week, and 5} per cent, last year. v ■■ '
