MAGISTRATE'S COURT

To-day's sitting, of the Magistrate's Court was presided over by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M.

Three first-offending inebriates were dealt with in the usual manner. William Donald, 79 years of ago, who had one previous conviction against him, was fined 10s or 48 hours' imprisonment.

Harold Bruce Anderson (Mr. J. Scott) was charged that on or about 27th April* 1921, ho did obtain from G. T. Young, jewellers, of Wellington, goods to the value of £55, by means of .an alleged valueless oheque. Anderson was remanded until Wednesday, bail being fixed at £100.
