PEBSONAL. Mr. A. S. Dalgleish has signed on the Tare■wora as chief officer, vice Mr. C. J. Hatfleld. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that"the steamer Peshawur left London on the 25th April with cargo for New Zealand. She is due in the Dominion about the 18th June. Conthinug her voyage from San Francisco the Waimarmo was to have left Apia on Thursday for Auckland. The Wairuna, at present in Australian waters, has been fixed to load on the Pacific coast tor Australasian ports early in June. She will be followed by tho Waikawa, which will also load on the Pacific coast for New Zealand and Australia in July. Tlie auxiliary brigantlne Zita has been recom. missioned at Wellington. Captain H. Johansen has taken over command of the vessel, and be has. with him Mr. C. Robinson as nigte. The Rama was to have left the Chatham Islands today for Wellington. She is due here on Mouday. The Ngakuta, bound from Greymouth to East Coast ports, passed Wellington Beads yesterday morning. The Ngahise 'has been delayed by rough weather at Gisborne. She will not arrive at Greymouth before Tuesday next to load for Wellington. The Woodarra is reported as having arrived j at Colon on the 26th April en route from lon-. don to New Zealand. ' The Dorset, en route from Wellington to Lon^ don, continued her voyage from Newport News pn the 26th April. An arrival at Lyttelton yesterday afternoon was the steamer City of Auckland with cargo from Now York. From Lyttelton the vessel I will proceed to Dunedin and Australian ports. The City of Winchester arrived at Auckland last evening from New York, via Panama. Further wireless advice from tho lonic, en route from London to New Zealand, states that the vessel is meeting with heavy seas, and will not arrive at' Wellington till Monday afternoon. ~ ; The Kauri left Newcastle yesterday morning with a'cargo of coal for Wellington. She is due here on Thursday.
