Craig an Eran, winner of the first-named event, is a half-brother to Spearmint (son of Carbine), who won both the English Dolby and Grand Prix de Paris. Humorist, who filled third place, is out of Jest (by Siindridge—Absurdity), a Ml sister to Mi\ Greorge Carrie's successful sjto Absurd. Jest, who was owned by Mr. J. B. Joel, died in. March, ten days after foaling a full -sister to Humorist.
