KING'S THEATRE.
Anita Stewart has a very congenial role in "Harriett and the Piper," whicty was screened at The King s Theatre last night. It is that of Harriett Field,,' who in her youth succumbed to th# allurements of the Bohemian quarter,, but realised, the perils in time. Later,; there came into her life a good man* who loved her; marriage followed, bnr Harriett, troubled by the spectre of the: past, almost decided to tell her hug* band. He himself learnt the detail*? of her past, however, and Harriett bitterly realised that "the dancer must pay, the piper." In addition, Mr. Watt' Hanfield was heard in several new; numbers, and The King's Grand Or-> chestra played the overture, •"Williiia'i Tell." - ..'-, ... ;.
