Wind—l, light; br, breeze; Jb, fresh brteze ; m g, moderate gale.; g, whale or heavy gait; w, gait ef exceptional severity. FORECAST. At 9 a.m. to-day the following forecast was issued for the subsequent U hours:— Winds—Westerly, moderate to strong and increasing, northward of East Cape and Kawhia; strong to gale elsewhere, and changing to southerly after about 20 hours.
