A telegram was received to-day by th« Minister of Internal Affairs (the Hon. W. Downio Stewart) from Mr. F. Moorhouse, Conservator of Fish and Game at Rotorua, who is at the Bluff, as follows: "Returned to Bluff late last night. Wapiti and moose are well established in the various (West Coast) Sounds." Moose and' wapiti were released in Dusky' Sound in. 1900, but nothing has been seen of them since 1909. Another lot was liberated in 1910.
