SCHOOL SPORTS
BROOKLYN.
The annual picnic of the Brooklyn School was held at Maidston© Park last week, and was attended by about 15C0 pupils' and "then- friends. Immediately after arrival at the grounds, the children were provided with buns and gingerbeer. Sports were then commenced, and carried on with an interval for lunch, until about 4.30 p.m., when tea was served. The prizes were then presented to the winners of the day. Tho Waterside Workers' Band rendered many, popular tuneg. Many thanks are. tendered to the donors of trophies for the sports, and to the willing assistance of friends. Standard I.—Boys : P.
