Membors of tho juvonile temples wore conveyed to Karori Park on Saturday by special tram car, where the first "annual amaUjur athletic championship meeting for the. Montgomery , Challenge Cup was held,. The events wore keenly' contested, and .the general arrangements were excellent, giving the promoters every reason to be satisfied with the result, of tho first annual meeting. . .At the close cheers were given to Excelsior members, winners of tho cup, anW to Brother Montgomory, superintendent, who donated the challenge cup. Brothsr Dalton, Grand Chief Templar, who is at present in Wellington, will present the cup on AVednesflay night at the Excelsior lodgeroom. The following are the results:—soyds, boys undor 10— S.
