BIBLE IN SCHOOLS
LEAGUE'S FUTURE POLICY.
A meeting of the Executive of the Bible in State Schools' League was held on Thursday. Bishop Julius presided, and there were present representatives of the Anglican, Presbyterian, Methodist, and Lutheran Churches, and of the Salvation Army.
The Rev. R. Wood agreed to <fiy the position of temporary acting-secretary. The following resolution was passed : "That the Executive of the Bible in State Schools' League having received petitions from Wellington ministers, the Southland Presbytery, and members, of executive' requesting them to declare the present position of the league a-nd its future policy, submit minute of their meeting, together with a financial statement, and agree to refer the question of the future policy of the le-ague for the consideration of the representatives of the Anglican, Presbyterian, Methodist, and Lutheran Churches, and the Salvation Army associated in the league."
